Engagement path

Live-product audit Website and enrollment redesign Platform-wide product delivery (active since 2022)

Business context

By the time Numatic came on board, Wonder Math already had paying families and an active class schedule. What the business needed wasn’t a new product — it was a partner that could keep improving the live one.

Numatic stepped in during the company’s transition from Wonderland Math to Wonder Math, carried the team through the rebrand without disruption, and has stayed on as the long-term product partner since.

The challenge

The challenge wasn’t building something new from scratch. It was making real improvements to a business that couldn’t be paused.

Wonder Math had paying families, classes happening every week, and internal tools the team relied on every day. Every change — to the website, the sign-up flow, the parent portal, or the systems behind them — had to land cleanly without breaking what families, teachers, and admins were already counting on.

Running a live product that needs steady forward motion?

What Numatic delivered

  • Rebuilt the website and the parent enrollment flow to make the program easier to understand and easier to sign up for
  • Carried the company through its rebrand from Wonderland Math to Wonder Math without disrupting students or revenue
  • Built role-based features across the platform — including the parent portal, the second-class enrollment type that lets families take two classes per week, ongoing homepage and conversion improvements, and the new Wonder Math Accelerated program
  • Improved the internal admin tooling the team uses every day, including admin-dashboard analytics and student-record workflows
  • Migrated the marketing automation stack twice — Vero → HubSpot → Drip — without breaking active customer communications
  • Implemented Amplitude to give the team visibility into where parents drop off inside the enrollment flow

How the work came together

1

Understand the live product

Numatic started by getting close to the real Wonder Math business — how parents discover and sign up for the program, how teachers and admins run classes, and where the platform was making things harder than they needed to be. That understanding shaped the priorities for everything that followed.
2

Improve the highest-leverage parts of the experience

The early work focused where it would make the biggest difference for the business: the public website, the enrollment flow, and the rebrand from Wonderland Math to Wonder Math. The goal was to make the program easier to understand, easier to sign up for, and presented in a way that matched the quality of what families actually receive.
3

Become a long-term product partner

From there, the engagement grew into broader product delivery across the platform — new features, role-based portal work, lifecycle-tool migrations, admin tooling, and analytics. New work continues to roll out on a steady cadence rather than as one-off projects.
